Commercial PaintersMay 18, 2017
Check out the amazing job our team of commercial painters have been recently working on in Torquay! The Two Bays Apartments, located on the Esplanade, was ready for a make over and is looking brand new again!
So what was done exactly? Our commercial painters used a 45ft (13.7MT) Diesel Rough Terrain Boom Lift to reach the North, West and South walls, including all windows associated with these walls, to prepare them as required including using a high pressure aqua cleanto provide a sound base for painting before being coated with 2 coats of paint.
They then prepared and painted all beams, columns, exterior ceilings above staircases, handrails, basement stairwells, all walls, door and architraves for each level at the rear of the building, planter boxes on the ground floor and also the front fence.
All windows and hand rails were sanded back as required to remove old flaking paint and treated with surface prep primer prior to being painted to ensure a smooth and lasting application of the oil based paint. Windows were also resealed with black sikaflex.
Our team also carried out various works for individual apartment owners, including repairs as required, sanding, priming and repainting handrails at the front of units, repainting walls, windows and planter boxes, and some interior painting as directed.
